Trust your vibes

Have you read the book, Trust Your Vibes, by Sonia Choquette? Sonia is a spiritual teacher and intuitive guide, often speaks about vibration, authenticity, and alignment with the soul.

I listened to the audiobook twice consecutively after seeing it being read by a twenty something gal on the M train, one sunny morning, on my way into the city with Gaby. Right now, we’re here in New York. We return to Olympia this July. Anyway, the book really touched me, and I find it relevant for our conversation about branding.

While Choquette may not speak directly about “branding” in the business sense, her core teachings translate beautifully into this context — especially when branding is seen as a form of self-expression and energetic alignment.

What might Sonia say about branding?

Sonia might say that your brand is an energetic broadcast — a reflection of your inner vibration. When your outer brand aligns with your true self (your spirit, your heart, your joy), you naturally begin to magnetize what’s in alignment with that energy: the right clients, the right opportunities, the right flow.

Question: do you believe in energetic attraction?

Yian Q

Since 2015, I have helped over 100 interior designers, builders, builders, and architects – from those just starting out to award-winning designers published in Architectural Digest, Luxe, and more.

My process starts with what is already true within you, then brings it to life in a way that resonates with your ideal clients.

I work with designers because they’re awesome. I’m a member of IDS (Interior Design Society) and served on the board of the Virtual Chapter. Design events I’ve attended include High Point, Vegas Market, and BOLD Summit (Business of Luxury Design).

When I’m not creating brands and websites, you can find me listening to audiobooks and going on long speed walks with friends.

I’m from Seattle and now live in New York City with my wife, Gaby.
