How It Works
A 30-minute conversation on Zoom with me, Yian. I interview you about a project you’ve completed — the client needs, the initial challenge, your design moves, and the outcome. I listen actively and ask clarifying questions that help draw the story out.Afterward, I draft a polished piece from our conversation. You make edits as needed and approve it.
Optional video add-on: this is video we create for you with the help of AI that tells the story succinctly in 1 minute.
The result is a finished project reveal ready for your website and other places such as social media.
Why It Matters
Most designers are too busy to make time to sit down and write out a thoughtful piece like this. With this method we’ve developed, all you have to do is show up on Zoom and sit for a brief interview.
This method harnesses how language actually emerges: through genuine conversation. When you're speaking your work aloud to someone who knows how to draw the story out — that's where authenticity and depth come alive. It's nearly impossible to access that same quality sitting alone at a desk.

3. I draft your piece — in a way that captures the depth of your work.
4. You submit any edits — making it yours. Then we publish it on your website either as a blog post or on another page.
